Kona 2017 DGW ★★★★★

This place is perfect . Has everything you need and within walking distance to town. Real homey condo. Real comfortable for two people.

We never met the owner Judy but she is always available and will help with anything. I feel like she is a member of the family.

Will surely stay here again if available when we return.

Great place to stay in Kona★★★★

My wife and I enjoyed our stay especially the fact that the condo was well stocked with the all the basics. The view was great. The condo was clean and well kept. It is close to all attractions on this side of the island. We enjoyed the privacy it afforded. Great place to stay!

Lovely little quiet condo. ★★★★

We like the convenient location, not too close to town but still within a nice evening walk. Great location for snorkeling right off the rocks out front in either direction of the condo complex. We even swam with dolphins out there! Lovely furnishings, very clean and well stocked with all the kitchen tools we needed. Very nice to have a cooler, beech chairs and umbrella. A very private and quiet complex with well kept grounds. No glitches, just fun and relaxation. We loved it!

We Would Stay Again ★★★★★

The condo is clean & the location is convenient. We loved enjoying the sunset from the lanai right when we first arrived, we saw it through the buildings across the parking lot. I especially liked being able to use the cooler & beach chairs; we had them in the car for the impromptu picnic, side-of-the-road fruit stand, or super market stop. Being able to have at least one meal a day at "home" prevented us from having to always eat out; save a little $ & eat healthier. Thank you Judy for being so accessible when we had questions before the trip & upon our arrival (about the WiFi). It was great to know we could reach you by calling, texting, & e-mailing you :)

Fantastic condo with a strong feeling of home ★★★★★

We arrived in the condo in the evening with the rain pouring down. We found that the previous people had left a few cans of soda - fantastic that this is possible! that saved our lives ;)

The condo was just perfect for us as a couple to use it as a base for big-island exploring. The area is clean and quiet. The pool is a little walk away but have an amazing view of the sunset. Also the city of Kona is within walk-able distance (for newlyweds that like to walk hand in hand that is)

All in all a perfect homely spot on the other side of the globe - Communication with the owner was quick and pleasant. As long-distance travelers the WiFi access was a must - stable and fast connection. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a place to stay in Kailua-Kona.

Relaxing place in Kona ★★★★

My husband and I stayed at the condo in Kona Shores for 4 nights in April 2016. We enjoyed using the resort amenities (pool, grill) and the condo had a great bed. The partial view of the ocean from the lanai was enough to make us feel like we were really on vacation. The community is a bit farther from town than we expected, so we used taxis more than we walked. Jackie Rey's Ohana Grill is very close and worth a visit for dinner!
